What a great day that was, the community of Gosford were brilliant hosts and the Pip and her immediate family and church family looked after us and put on a fantastic event! Great contacts were made and new relationships were forged and deepened. I really believe that the commuinity will benefit from what went on that day. Central Coasties you guys are absolute legends!

Great job Pip! A brilliant example of a young person arriving home after a mission experience and doing something about it straight away. We celebrate you for all your hard work Pip and the fact that through you the Good News of the Kingdom is gonna be advanced in the Central Coast/Gosford. I’m convinced that it will add value to your community Pip, which is what being the church is all about, you rock girl!

Funny how God uses the least likely people to remind you of him, his love, grace, mercy and patience. I came to the same realisation my self late last year and was recently reminded again only last week by a 14 year old teen who gives little thought to God.

You guys are amazing. Every day I see the enormous need in this city – so many people lost, filled with despair and hopelessness, so many people tottering on the precipice about to fall – today I struggled to convince two 13 year olds from Brisbane to go back home, I witnessed an 18 year old boy begin his journey into prostitution, I tried to reassure a 20 year old boy who has lost touch with reality because of his ice addiction, I broke up two fights and at the end of the day was unable to find a vacant bed in the city was for three homeless young people!! The Task at times seems so overwealming, the church so preoccupied with other things – but then I read these testimonies and see these pictures and see your guys hearts – and I remember God has not abandoned the dark places of our city – he is still there and through people like you guys he is trying to call his church into action!! Please don’t lose heart, please keep it up – you inspire me and give me great hope!!……… even after a day like this.

Great to hear from you – thank you for your positive feedback and pleased to hear that you’d love to participate.

We would recommend that you apply to do STUMP first and foremost, although applicants must be 16 years of age or over. Are you turning 16 this year?
